Meet our Steak Don 🤎 Our best seller during our two years in a ghost kitchen, and the dish that became our signature.

Freshly cooked warm rice, our Mr. Don sauce, a sunny-side-up egg, and juicy scotch fillet steak cut into bite-sized pieces on top.

This one has a special place in my heart, and of course it’s coming with us to New Brighton! We’d love for you to try it when we open 🫶

Have you heard of Hainanese Chicken Rice?

Tonight, I made my own version for dinner!

This dish originally came from Hainan, China, then spread across Southeast Asia. Each country changed it a little and made its own version.

In Singapore, it’s called Hainanese Chicken Rice. In Malaysia and Indonesia, you can find versions called Nasi Ayam or Nasi Ayam Hainan. In Thailand, it’s called Khao Man G*i.

The names and flavours may be a little different, but it’s a very popular dish everywhere—from street food to restaurants!

Usually, the chicken is gently poached with ginger in a flavourful broth. The rice is cooked with chicken fat and chicken broth, and the warm broth is also served as a soup.

Each country has a different style of sauce, but a few slices of cucumber are always a must!

For my version, I used juicy roasted chicken and served it with a tasty Thai Khao Man G*i-style sauce.

Same roots, with my own little twist 🤞

Yesterday ended up being our final day of service.

We originally planned to stay open for a few more days, but thanks to the incredible support from all of you, our promotion completely sold out and we officially ran out of stock.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better way to close this chapter.

Thank you for every order, every review, every recommendation, and every bit of support you’ve given us throughout the years.

Now it’s time for us to focus 100% on our next project and bring our new dine-in restaurant to life as quickly as possible.

This isn’t goodbye — it’s simply the beginning of a new chapter.

We’ll continue sharing updates along the way, and we can’t wait to welcome you into our new home in New Brighton soon.
