I've managed to injure myself, so catering availability will be a little limited over the next few weeks while I recover.

I'm still working, just at a slower pace than usual.

After a lot of thought, I’ve made the decision to close the EJK deli space in Parnell and shift my full focus toward catering and family life.

This little space has meant so much to me. It taught me more than I could ever put into words — about business, pressure, creativity, people, and myself. I’m incredibly proud of what EJK became in such a short time and so grateful for every customer, order, conversation and bit of support along the way.

Hospitality is tough, especially for small owner-operated businesses, and while this chapter is closing, it’s not the end for EJK. Catering will continue operating from a centralised kitchen with some exciting opportunities ahead.

Thank you to everyone who supported the café, recommended us, popped in for coffee, ordered catering, or simply cheered us on. It genuinely meant the world.

Here’s to the next chapter 💚
