Don’t mind me, just reintroducing myself and our ridiculously good donuts!

Hi, I’m Aleesha 👋🏼 and I run the Mt. Maunganui, BOP branch of OMG! Decadent Donuts New Zealand. Occasionally you’ll also see my marine scientist partner, Alex, and our trusty sidekick, Sora 🐶

You can find us at events around the Bay of Plenty – check back here and our on website for regular updates! Or get donuts delivered on Uber Eats.

I’ve worked in the food and service industry for over 12 years now and have noticed a big lack of allergy friendly treats and places that people with dietary requirements can confidently indulge. That’s where we come in!

Our donuts are completely free of gluten, dairy and nuts. They also don’t contain any yeast, wheat, eggs, sulphites or preservatives. And our handcrafted sugars are made with 100% real ingredients with no GMOs. Nothing artificial here baby! Truly the goodies with no baddies 😉

With 12 mouth watering flavours to choose from, we believe there’s something for everyone. From classic cinnamon, to roasted coffee, sweet fruity flavours like strawberry, lemon, and pineapple and lime, to our personal favourite - raspberry, cacao, chilli and sea salt 🔥

We also do mini donut bites 😍 available in any of our 12 flavours.

They’re light and fluffy and only a little bit addicting!

We’re thrilled to have the talented Little Amigos Face Painting joining us for a Koha fundraiser to support her community overseas affected by the earthquakes.

We also have an amazing sensory play area created by the lovely Rosie from Wildling Haven, giving little ones a chance to explore, play and get hands-on in a magical sensory world. 🌿✨

🎟️ Entry is just $5 per child. Parents and children under 1 year are free.

Half of all entry proceeds will go back to Te Puna Quarry to help support this beautiful community space. Extra koha is always welcome. 🙏

Great news - I’m alive!
Even better news - Donuts are back on tomorrow night 🙌🏼

Still in recovery mode, so taking it easy! Just back 3 days a week for now, but I’m so excited to get yummy treats out to you all again 😍
Event inquiries are rolling in too, from October onwards, so be on the lookout for updates on when you can catch us out and about in the community!

As per usual we’ll be delivering via Uber Eats - orrr if you’d prefer to pick up from Welcome Bay just flick me a message 🫶🏻

Anyone else been dreaming of an island holiday now that winter is well and truly here?!

Well let, me introduce one of my favourite flavour combos that tastes just like summer; Toast My Berry 🤤

It leads with a bright, tangy zing from the freeze dried raspberries, one that wakes your tastebuds up instantly. Then, quietly, comes the creamy, coconutty goodness, toasted to perfection for that little extra bit of texture in each bite.

It’s got that perfectly tangy, fruity, velvety sweetness that leaves you craving more and wishing you were sipping cocktails on a beach 🏝️

Did you know our donuts freeze and reheat like a dream?! 🤤 just between you and me, these bad boys have been in the freezer for… 8 months 😅 and while I don’t necessarily recommend leaving them that long, they were still very much light, fluffy and bursting with flavour!
Our donuts are of course best served fresh. But if you can’t or you just want to order some extras to save for a rainy day.. freezing and reheating is the perfect option.
My favourite method is 5 mins in a sunny spot before popping them into the oven (I used the air fryer for this video because my oven is not clean enough to be on the internet right now 😂) and turning it on to a low heat while the donuts are already in there! The magic is in letting the donut heat up with the oven, giving them a flip after a few minutes to ensure they heat evenly and then enjoy 🤭
Of course the air fryer and microwave do the job in a pinch! But I do find the air fryer can harden the sugar quickly and the microwave can make them a lil soft and soggy - but you gotta work with what you got!

Same story with our bites too, so if you’re tossing up on whether to go large - there’s no reason not to 😉
