📢 THE BETTER BATTER IS BACK!

It took us a little longer than planned—a huge THANK YOU for hanging in there with us🥹🫶 We’re finally ready to get back to the trailer and fire up the fryer again!💪

We’ll be back today, Wednesday 15th July🎉

🙌 Quick little update from Team Better Batter 🙌

First of all… THANK YOU for all the messages asking where we are and when we’re coming back🥹 We promise we haven’t disappeared!

We’re back in Tekapo and were really hoping to reopen around the end of June, but our fryer had other plans and chose the worst possible timing to have an ignition issue🥲

And of course, Mother Nature decided to join in too…🫠 We’ve now got a few days of strong winds, rain, and snow ahead, so we’re just waiting for the weather to settle enough for the technician to make it out to Tekapo.

We know some of you have been waiting (and waiting🥺)… we’re so sorry to make you wait just a little bit longer.

Please bear with us just a tiny bit longer🫶 We’ll keep everyone updated as soon as we know more.

We’re more than ready to be back at the trailer and have all those little chats again🥹💙

Until then… stay warm, stay cozy, and we’ll (hopefully🤞) see you by Lakeside very, very soon💙

📣 THE BETTER BATTER WINTER BREAK NOTICE

And just like that… it’s that time of the year again❄️

After another big, busy, beautiful season by the lake, our tiny team is getting ready for a little early winter hibernation🐻‍❄️

To every single person who stopped by this season—whether it was for a quick feed, a little chat by the trailer window, or one of those long queue waits in the cold—THANK YOU💙

Every kind word, message, wave, returning face, and all your support really got us through another huge season.

Some days were super hot, freezing, wet, chaotic, exhausting, and incredibly busy.. but we couldn’t have done another season without you all🥹🫶

We’ll be taking a short seasonal break before the real Tekapo winter settles in properly. We’re hoping to be back before the end of June—just not 100% sure on the exact reopening date yet, but we’ll keep everyone updated as always☃️

Until then, stay warm, take care, and we’ll see you again by Lakeside soon🫶

With love,
Team Better Batter
