Long post… Fi is writing 😅💗

Yesterday was one of those days that quietly reminds you what community really is.

To everyone who came out and supported our Breast Cancer Fundraising Day… thank you. Truly. Whether you bought a coffee, sweet treat, donated, wore pink, shared a kind word, or simply showed up… it mattered.

A huge special mention to beautiful Zoe for not only donating your time but turning up with the pink balloons and helping make the café feel full of love and colour all day long 🎀

Together we raised $1,324, with our amazing customers donating $324 and Made With Love Café donating $1,000. That is something pretty special 💗

Breast cancer is something that touches so many lives around us. We have a lot of incredible survivor customers who walk through our doors every week with strength and grace that honestly inspires me. And now sadly our lovely JL has just started her own treatment journey, so this one hit especially close to home for our team.

I also just want to say how ridiculously proud I am of my girls.
People often joke that I’m “never there” 😂 meanwhile I’m usually lurking somewhere in the background doing dishes, sorting problems, encouraging the team, carrying boxes, or trying to keep all the moving parts together quietly behind the scenes.

But the truth is… Made With Love only feels the way it does because of the people inside it.

The girls show up every single day with heart, humour, creativity and care. They treat the café like it’s their own and go above and beyond constantly, not because they have to, but because they genuinely care about the people walking through the doors. That kind of loyalty and love can’t be taught.

As an owner, there’s nothing more special than standing back and watching a team love something alongside you. I feel really blessed.

Yesterday wasn’t about a café.
It was about humans showing up for humans.
And in a world that can feel pretty heavy sometimes, that means everything 💗

Thank you for supporting us, supporting breast cancer awareness, and supporting each other.
