A midweek shoutout to our local Greytown Volunteer Fire Brigade!

We lost count over the weekend how many times the siren went up at our neighbours across the road!

These legends give up their time with family etc to help our community when we need them most.

Gone are the days when the fire brigade only went to fires. Now they are turning up to all sorts of emergencies including car crashes and medical emergencies.

A massive thanks team. We’re very lucky to have you.

The Offering introduces “The Annex”!

Tucked quietly beside us here in Greytown, is our new space and we are so excited to present it to you!

It is perfect for team meetings, workshops and private dinners.

Kitted out with a large whiteboard and a 75-inch Smart TV, you and your clients or team members can enjoy this private, quiet space with the added bonus of barista-made coffee on the premises! ☕️

You can also add on lunch and morning & afternoon tea! How good?! We’ll take care of everything, except the presentation, that’s on you. 😉

The space would also be wonderful for a special, private celebration away from the main cafe space. Think special birthdays, family gatherings or a private Christmas Dinner.

First day of Term 4! Congratulations on getting through the holidays.

Mrs O’s boys might be adults now, but I remember just how hard the juggle was. Working (or trying to), finding childcare, Mum guilt for working, work guilt when you feel like you’re not giving it your full attention….

So well done to the Mums & Dads out there. Try and take a moment to enjoy your coffee and remind yourself that you’re doing your best, and that’s good enough. 👍🏻👊🏻☕️

Yes, it’s still on the menu!

We have sold over 2200 of our The Great NZ Toastie Takeover winning toastie “Holy Smoke”!

Thank you to everyone who has tried and loved it as much as we do!

It is an absolute labour of love from the house made bread & in-house pastrami to the individually wrapped wontons by Kyoko!

Thanks again for your wonderful support!

Just when Mrs O starts to lose all faith in humanity, two Kindness Cards, paid forward by overseas visitors, were gratefully used by two people today! So good! ❤️

If you would like to pay a little bit of joy forward, talk to one of the team or email us.

Goodness knows we can use some more kindness in the world at the moment! 🌎
