😭❤️ WELL, WHO'S CUTTING ONIONS IN HERE?!

It's Chandre's last (official) shift with us tonight, and we're not quite sure we're ready to let this one go! 🥹

She's been such a huge part of our Tavern family, and we're going to miss that gorgeous smiling face, her absolutely infectious cackling laugh, and all the laughs (and probably a few questionable conversations 😂) along the way.

The Tavern just won't be quite the same without her! ❤️

So, if you're around tonight, pop in, give her a big hug, wish her all the very best, and maybe even shout her a drink... AFTER she's finished cooking, obviously! 🤣🍻 We still need to feed you lot!

Chandre, thank you for everything you've brought to our team. You're one of the good ones, and while we're gutted to be losing you, we're so grateful for the time we've had with you.

You'll always be part of the Halcombe Tavern family, and you're not getting rid of us that easily! ❤️😂

📢 A LITTLE HEADS-UP FROM THE HALCOMBE TAVERN 🍻

Unfortunately, like many businesses, we’ve been feeling the pinch of rising costs and, with a heavy heart, we’ll be making some price increases across our menu and/or drinks from 26th October 2026.

We know everyone is feeling the cost of living squeeze, and we haven’t made this decision lightly. We’ve done our best to keep prices as reasonable as possible while continuing to give you the food, drinks, and friendly local atmosphere you know and love. ❤️

We’d like to say a massive THANK YOU for your ongoing support, whether you pop in for a meal, a cold one, a catch-up with mates, or a bit of fun at one of our events. Every visit means a lot to us, and we’re incredibly grateful to have such a great community behind us.

Thanks for sticking with us, supporting local, and helping keep our little country pub ticking along. We look forward to seeing you at the bar! 🍻❤️

🍻❤️ THANK YOU, HALCOMBE! ❤️🍻

What a bloody good night celebrating 150 years of the Halcombe Tavern! 🎉

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, bought a ticket, filled a table, had a feed, had a dance, sang along and helped us celebrate this pretty special milestone.

It was awesome seeing so many familiar faces, old friends, new faces and generations of Tavern locals all coming together. 🥰

A shout-out to Just Jammin for keeping the tunes rolling and getting everyone in the birthday spirit 🎶, and to everyone who helped behind the scenes to make the night happen.

And we absolutely can’t forget a massive thank you to our amazing staff who work hard behind the scenes and on the front line to make the Tavern the place it is today. ❤️

It’s the people who make a pub, and we’re incredibly lucky to have such a great bunch helping keep the doors open, the food coming, the drinks flowing and the good times rolling!

150 years of stories, characters, laughs, good times and probably a few things best left untold! 😂

🎉 WE’RE JUST OVER A WEEK AWAY! 🎉

Our 150th Birthday celebrations are coming up on Saturday 3rd October, and we need to start getting ourselves organised! 🍻🐷🎶

If you’re planning on joining us for an afternoon/evening of good food, good music and 150 years of Tavern history, please let us know!
