This Christchurch grassroots organisation empowers people to participate fully in community life through social services, community cafes, wellness and educational programmes. Delta is about Community where people experience positive relationships and personal growth, and journey and grow together in all social, mental, physical and spiritual aspects of life. Community where people are empowered to fully participate in and contribute to community life. Community that uplifts people who face personal hardship, experiencing disability, isolation or other disadvantage. Our motivation comes from, and is in response to, the love of Jesus Christ, his message of hope and invitation to a new and renewed life, as depicted by the cross,. We seek to express what this means through who we are as an organisation. Who we are and what we Value. We are a motley bunch of people, volunteers, staff, board members, church and non-church goers and hangers-on committed to expressing and living out the values of Empowerment, Relationship, People, Community, Creativity, Inclusiveness, Faith and Holism. This body of people includes those involved with North Avon Baptist Church and Delta Community Church. What we do
