This week’s 📦 brings a very special Moemoe taewa (potato) which we’ve rescued from a grower who grew them for another outlet, and was sadly left hanging!

With their purple skins and creamy insides, they’re a unique Māori variety that aren’t typically seen commercially so we’re stoked to be featuring them in all boxes so no one misses out 💟🥔

Bigger and sweeter due to not all the seeds germinating as they should, so these survivors have received 3X the nutrients than expected!

Too big to fit for standard retailers but we’re not letting them go to waste. Plus the bigger, the more there is to enjoy right 😏
