A year ago, on September 8, 2025, the streets of Nepal filled with young voices, students, dreamers, ordinary people, standing up and asking for a future they believed they deserved.

Today, we hold their memory close. We remember the courage it took to show up, to speak up, and to hope for something better.

So many of them had their whole lives ahead of them. Dreams that were just beginning to take shape, plans that were never finished, laughter that still echoes in the hearts of those who loved them. A year doesn't make that ache any smaller, and for the families carrying this loss, it may never fully fade.

To every family still holding this weight, and to everyone who still feels the absence of someone they loved - The Black Gold family grieves with you, and stands with you.

There are days when words feel too small for what has happened, and this is one of them.

Today, and in the days ahead, we simply want every affected family to know this: you are not alone in your grief. Your pain is seen and your loss matters. And the strength it takes to face each new day right now does not go unnoticed.

To those we have lost, may you rest peacefully. To those left behind - may you find strength and may you never feel alone in this journey of healing.

The Black Gold joins hands with everyone working toward relief and recovery, and we hope that in time, this pain gives way to healing, and this heartbreak gives way to hope once again.
