When we are unhappy, if we will walk with God, pray, thank him for anything good we can think of, thank him that he will see us through, read his Word, and honor him by treating others well and forgiving, he will bring us back to happiness, joy, gratitude and a sense of being more fulfilled Often there are things in our lives and backgrounds that need serious attention. Finding proper help and resources to address and overcome these difficulties is a priority, and it is also good to know that we can support ourselves in this process by asking God to remind us of good things we have enjoyed and positive things and aspects about ourselves and our lives so that we do not get overwhelmed by the hard and hurtful parts of life. God wants us to rise in our spirits by seeking Him and thanking Him, and he is happy to help us do so when we ask Him to.
“Give thanks in all things for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18

Faith is something that, though it should be a permanent part of our lives, can seem to come and go. At times we feel faith that our prayers will be answered or that things will get better only later to be swamped again with discouragement and doubt. Faith can be built in our lives and strengthened so that it is more an attitude and characteristic of who we are and how we live and not a mere occasional feeling. To build faith we can read the Word of God, the Bible, as well as listen to the Word taught and preached through anointed, studied speakers. In the New Testament, in the book of Romans, chapter 10 verse 17 it says, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the Word of God." Our faith is strengthened and grown as we read and hear the Word, which is God's written voice to us. We learn about God's nature and attributes through reading his Word, and, over time, we are better able to hear his still, small voice speaking to us down on the inside. Ask the Lord to help you to grow and develop your faith in Him and his goodness so that when you come to Him you will believe that he is there for you, that he loves you and wants to help you and show you the way in which you should go.

The following scripture paints the most beautiful picture of a home life of dreams.
"Through skillful and godly wisdom is a house, a home, a life, a family built, and by understanding it is established on a sound and good foundation. And by knowledge shall its chambers of every area be filled with all pleasant and precious riches." Proverbs 24: 3-4
To build beautiful relationships that are strong and mutually beneficial, to build a home life that builds us up and strengths us, that fills us with joy and meets our needs, we must use wisdom in the things we say and do. In any difficult, challenging or unfulfilling areas of our relationships, we must pray and ask God for wisdom in how we should view the other person and how we should view our own needs. Learning that God is loving and willing to meet specific needs that we have that the others in our lives are not meeting is very freeing and comforting. God is our main Source for everything we need, and when we receive good things from and through others, this is like the icing on the cake! God is the cake, so to speak, the foundation, and he also uses others to support us and bless us the way he uses us to support and bless others, too. Pray for understanding for the other person whom you are in relationship with. We don't want to wait for and expect specific things from someone if that is not who and how God created them to be. The more you can understand someone else and give him or her grace and space to be themselves, the more you will love and enjoy that person, which over time will free him or her to love you and enjoy you more. The part about the home's chambers being filled in every area with all pleasant and precious riches, I believe to be an illustration of beautiful things like harmony in the home and in your relationships, peace, getting along, feeling joy and hope, making memories, forgiving, understanding and growing together.
