It's been a week since the second edition of Made by Her Festival and we are still buzzing with the excitement and the amazing weekend it was.

This post is dedicated to all the women who brought their best foot forward and gave you all the flavours from their cultures.

On Sunday, last week, a corner of Amsterdam saw beautiful synergies, warmth and deliciousness.

From tacos to Pasteis De Nata, modern Indian flavours to traditional Persian food, new dishes, each one who came to the festival brimming with love for food and just the anticipation of new things to be discovered.

Thank you ladies and thank you Amsterdam for showing us so much love, this time even more 🫶🏻

is here to stay because of the love you showered.

This little kiddo came to the registration desk at the Made By Her festival with a completed bingo and evidently very thrilled with it.
So I wanted to gift her anything that she liked from any of the stalls. She said she loved the eggplant Dil from .nl so gave her a takeaway of that. She also bought the Made by Her bag 🥹
And a lovely coincidence - her name is Monsi (not sure if it is spelled this way) ... Very similar to Manasi.

We didn’t expect this.
People showed up… and then called their friends to come. We had to open up tickets twice and so many of you showed up at the door to buy tickets.

You explored everything - the food, the conversations, the bingo, the poetry corner.
You stayed longer, you engaged, you made it what it was. You told us you enjoyed.

Some of you told us this felt like a step up from last time.
Some said this should happen more than once a year.
Some of you also gave us constructive feedback

We’re listening 👀 and taking it all in with open hearts.

This was far from perfect, but we are taking clues and getting better as we go.

Thank you for believing and cheering so loud 😊
