We believe in the power of failures, and that they are one of the best resources for learning and development. We believe the world needs less best practice, less beautified social media presence, and more honesty. We believe that a strong failure culture is central for a company’s long-term success. So.....
We provide business failure stories a safe and pleasant place to be revealed. We provide people a safe space to connect around shared experiences. To put it short - and soon to come:
We create a video-based online-platform for failure stories on www.we-fu**edup.com
If you want to join the movement already via this page, here is how it works:
- Just browse the videos on this page to understand what this is all about. Get inspired, be surprised - and if you want, comment or contact the producer.
- If you feel like sharing your own fu**up story, please upload a short 2-3 min video by simply answering 2 questions:
1. What was my fu**up?
2. What was my take away? Please use some hashtags for your video to make it easy for others to understand the context. (I'll fix the intro for you - don't worry about that)
It truly can be any topic of your job life - either you had a bad meeting, or you screwed up a project, or you throw spaghetti on someone’s suit in the cafeteria! Choose any language you like - feel comfortable with it!
--------------------------------
The rules of the game:
- Be nice. It’s a huge step to talk about a personal fu**up story in public, and it’s more demanding to do a video.
- Be curious.
2 or 3 minutes may not be enough to talk about each detail. Use the comment section to ask for background information.
- Be you. We are not here to find the next YouTube star - hell no! Just tell your story and don’t worry about the perfect set-up, the perfect light, or perfect wording.
- Be proud. Whatever happened to you - you survived! So feel free to tell the world where you are right now in your professional life, and how your fu**up maybe even helped you to get there.
