Domaine Sylvain Dussort is run by father Sylvain and recently joined by his daughter Anne-Caroline who is taking the domaine in to the future.

A domaine of 6ha around in and around Meursault, they produce exquisite white wines of the highest standard.

Using a sustainable approach to the vines, they work in sync with nature. Their traditional vinification allows for natural fermentation to develop without introduced yeasts.

The vine density varies from 9 000-11 000 vines per hectare and their belief is to have sustainable cultivation to inspire confidence in their wines as well as respecting mother nature.

Sylvain and Anne-Caroline stem from a long line of winemakers and coopers based in Meursault.

We are proud to represent this quality-orientated estate defined by the passion and love for the vines and wines.

"The first time we visited Domaine Chicotot we we’re greeted by Pascale, as we’re walking in to the old pressoir she exclaims “look at it – it looks brand new”. However, we had noted the year written on the building outside, 1768. That makes them the 13th continuous generation to craft wines from Nuits-St-Georges and it’s no coincidence that her husband’s name is Georges.

Pascale and Clement, wife and son respectively of the eponymous Georges, run this discreet domaine whose buildings can be found as you enter Nuits-St-Georges from the south. Almost all their veinyards are in Nuits-St-Georges, with the individual lieux-dits of village wines being made separately.

Clement has put the domaine through organic certification, is exploring biodynamics and is keen on encouraging biodiversity: trees in the vineyard and an insect hotel in the Rue de Chaux Premier Cru. Caterpillar tractors, cheillards, are replacing full size tractors too. On thw winemaking side, the dicision to include whole bunches or not depends on the vineyard (non for the 2019 Aux Allots, 100% for Plantes Au Baron). No new wood is employed at village level, maximum one new in for for the Premier Crus, with barrels as they age being reserved for the same vineyard each year. The wines come out of barrel in November for bottling without filtration in February.

Judging by the 2019 vintage, Clement and Pascale Chicotot are making some high-class Nuits-St-Georges with considerable elegance.

Looking for an exciting and innovative team outing experience before the summer break?

Over the past 7 months we have been building our unique and exciting tasting concept Discover Your Palate. During April and May our first events took place with some 100 guests.

In Discover Your Palate, your senses guide you through 3 flights of wine. Each subsequent flight building on the previous one, making it so that each person has wines unique to their taste. In total we have a pool of 78 wines to choose from (!).
In the last flight we predict your taste by serving you 3 glasses, and in a fun and mysterious way show you our predictions once you have scored the wines.

This experience is unlike any other tasting, and I can proudly say that 9 out of 10 guests say that “It is highly likely that I will recommend this tasting to a friend or colleague”.

For now, Discocver Your Palate is available for group bookings and we look forward to our open events in the fall. The tasting that features 13 wines is available in two formats, with bites (95€pp) or a 4 course dinner (155€ pp). Hostied in our beautiful location in Amsterdam or ask us for a quote to bring the tasting to your chosen venue.

Rising-star 3 years ago, today sought by many. Antoine Lienhardt produces lush and juicy wines out of Comblanchien in Côte de Nuits, Bourgogne.
