This is your cordial invite aboard the M.S. Sayyad - a fishing boat travelling through mellow seas of sound and streams of conversation.

Gone Fishin’ will be a space for free and informal conversation - which we will guide along the general topic of a theme. Our vision is to let this fishing boat be a light-hearted space for listeners to hear and interact with the personal connections we all have to music and its various roles in the human experience.

For our first episode of Gone Fishin’, we’re diving into the theme of memory. It is a studied phenomenon that music can play a critical role in the formation or reactivation of memories. Music can be the focal subject of a memory, or can be an association to a set of memories, a time, a place, or perhaps even people.
