Guess what we'll be making Okpaπ
INGREDIENTS:
- 500 grams Okpa flour (Bambara nut flour)
- 2 tablespoonful Ground Crayfish
- 1 small onion
- Salt
- Leaf(optional)
- 50ml Palm oil
-2 stock cubes
- Ground Chilli Pepper
- Warm water
DIRECTION:
STEP 1: Pour the Opka flour into a bowl ,add the palm oil and mix thoroughly,untill the flour changes from White to orange or yellow.
STEP 2: Next, add the warm water and mix thoroughly untill there is no lump ,but it shouldn't be too watery.
STEP 3: Add the crayfish,stock cubes,onions, pepper and salt to taste. Mix thoroughly.
STEP 4 : Pour the mixture into your container of your choice and place in a pot of boiling water (just as Moi Moi is done).
STEP 5 : Leave to boil for 45 minutes.Add some water to the pot as the water dries up.
STEP 6: The Okpa should be ready after 45 minutes . But for certainly,it can boil for 1 hour.
STEP 7 : Leave to cool.
STEP 8: Serve and enjoy
