The Benue State Police Command has arrested a 20-year-old man, Joro Jarkata, who is suspected of supplying am******on to b@nd¡ts.

According to the police, the suspect was arrested during a stop-and-search operation in Guma Local Government Area after his companion reportedly fled into a nearby bush on sighting security operatives. The police say the suspect is currently in custody, while investigations are ongoing to uncover where the am******on came from, who it was meant for, and to track down the fleeing accomplice.

The Commissioner of Police also praised the officers involved in the operation and assured residents that the command remains committed to tackling illegal arms and criminal activities across Benue State.

If the allegations are confirmed, this arrest could help prevent future att@cks and improve security in our communities.

🚨 Bandits Att@ck Catholic Bishop’s Residence in Benue, Abduct Seminarian

Another disturbing incident has been reported in Benue State.

Gunmen suspected to be b@nd¡ts reportedly att@cked the residence of the Catholic Bishop in the Asa III area of Otukpo LGA on Wednesday and abducted a seminarian identified as Kelvin Ochai.

The Otukpo Catholic Diocese confirmed the incident in a statement released on Friday. Bishop Michael Ekwoyi Apochi has called on Christians and people of goodwill to pray for the seminarian’s safe and quick release, while also remembering all Nigerians still being held captive across the country.

This is a painful reminder that insecurity continues to affect communities, regardless of who the v¡ctims are. We hope and pray that Kelvin Ochai regains his freedom safely and that lasting solutions are found to protect lives and property.

🙏 Let's keep him and every other v¡ctim of abduction in our prayers.

This morning, I saw two cockroaches enjoying tatata. I wanted to spray insect spray and I thought twice, Maybe he has been chasing her for years now and she has been eating his money without allowing him to get down there, I am human I have a good heart so I let him enjoy... But as I was about to go, I had a second thought... what if he was ràpïñğ her? Or what if he was enjoying someone's wife? Then I sprayed it.😩😂
