Pizza Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

For the Dough

* 500g all-purpose flour
* 2 tsp instant yeast
* 1 tsp sugar
* 1 tsp salt
* 300ml warm water
* 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Filling

* ½ cup pizza sauce
* 200g mozzarella cheese, shredded
* 100g pepperoni slices, chopped
* ½ cup diced bell peppers
* ¼ cup diced onions
* 1 tsp oregano
* ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)

Method

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

* Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
* Add warm water and olive oil.
* Knead until smooth and elastic.
* Cover and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.

Step 2: Roll the Dough

* Roll the dough into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface.

Step 3: Add the Filling

* Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
* Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, and onions.
* Add oregano and chili flakes.

Step 4: Roll and Slice

* Roll the dough tightly into a log.
* Slice into 2–3 cm thick rolls.

Step 5: Bake the Pizza Rolls

* Arrange the rolls on a lined baking tray.
* Bake at 190°C for 18–22 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

Step 6: Pizza Rolls Ready

* Remove from the oven.
* Let cool slightly before serving.
* Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Servings: 10–12 pizza rolls

Preparation Time: 25 minutes

Rising Time: 1 hour

Baking Time: 18–22 minutes
