All-weather fondant icing Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 kg icing sugar (sifted)
- 1/2 cup very hot water
- 1 tablespoon gelatin
- 2 tablespoons liquid glucose
- 1 teaspoon CMC (Carboxymethyl Cellulose) powder ( for added firmness)
- A few drops of glycerin (optional, for added flexibility)
- Food coloring (optional)

Instructions
In a small bowl, mix the gelatin with the very hot water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it dissolves completely.

Add the liquid glucose to the gelatin mixture and stir well.

Gradually add the sifted icing sugar to the gelatin mixture, mixing until it forms a dough-like consistency. If the mixture is too dry, add a few drops of glycerin or a little more water.

Knead the dough on a surface dusted with icing sugar until smooth and pliable. If using CMC powder, add it during this step to help the fondant hold its shape better.

If you want colored fondant, add a few drops of food coloring and knead until the color is evenly distributed.

Wrap the fondant in plastic wrap and store it in an airtight container. Let it rest for a few hours to mature.

This fondant is perfect for all weather conditions and can be used to cover cakes, create decorations, or sculpt figures.

NIGERIAN COCKTAIL 🍹 RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 liter of Fanta Orange
500 milliliters of 7Up (or Sprite)
200 milliliters of Cassis Syrup (blackcurrant cordial like Ribena, or more to taste)
A few drops of Angostura Bitters
Vodka, Campari, White rum, or White beer (optional)
Juice of 1 lime
Juice of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 sweet orange
Ice cubes
Cucumber slices (for garnish)
Lemon, lime, and orange wedges (for garnish)

Instructions:
Mix the Soft Drinks: In a large jug, combine the Fanta and 7Up.
Add the Syrup and Bitters: Stir in the Cassis Syrup and a few drops of Angostura Bitters.
Juice the Fruits: Add the juice of the lime, lemon, and sweet orange.
Optional Alcohol: If you prefer an alcoholic version, add your choice of vodka, Campari, white rum, or white beer.
Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the Chapman mixture over the ice, and garnish with cucumber slices and citrus wedges.
