My culinary journey has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but one thing remains constant, my passion for cooking! It all started in 2012/2013 when TY Danjuma Foundation, in partnership with Girls Power Initiative (GPI), sponsored me and a friend to learn cooking skills. Initially, I wasn’t sure what skill to pick, but cooking was the first thing that came to mind. Little did I know, it would become my passion!
Through the ups and downs, cooking has been my solace, creativity, and therapy. It literally saw me through university, as I used my culinary skills to feed my faculty, department, friends, and family. More than just a skill, cooking became a means to an end.
Now, I’m eager to take it to the next level by applying for the prestigious Sterlin Bank Cooking Competition. This isn’t just about winning a prize; it’s about showcasing my skills, learning from the best, and elevating my culinary journey. It’s about sharing my story, culture, and passion with the world, pushing boundaries, and making my mark.
