My parents are like fire and ice, lol. You can tell who fire is just by watching the video and yes, I have her fire. My mother’s fire.

When my ever calm, steady father found out I quit my job on social media, he was hurt. One, I blindsided him. Two, I had a reasonably well paying job at my age then and they always imagined I’d be at the top of the career pretty fast.

lol, then like a drop out, I chose to sell meat.

He worried so much about me.

‘Amaka, are you sure you’d earn a living from this?’
‘Yes, Daddy. God led me here’

My pastor father prayed for me and loaded me with advise. I still sit with his words.

My mum on the other hand- DRACAERYS😂😂

‘You quit?’
‘Yes Mummy. I’m sure I have to fight for this business. I’d be great’
‘carry go, my pikin! Lion no Dey born goat. You go cry but you go clean eyes continue to see front’😂

And the kain weeping wey I don weep for this business, even Jesus wey wept no we put like me😂

Next morning:
‘Ding ding!’
500k alert from my daddy.

‘Daddy, what’s the money for?’
‘You’re just starting afresh again, in case you need money to eat for now😭😭 or add it to business’.

My mum sent money too that same day. Boy! I needed that money. I wept.

Since then, they’ve remained my biggest advisers, my backbone. And I actually use my mum’s recipe for all products.

Then daddy connected me to his big colleagues and one of them came to Lagos. He marketed to her and she requested for some goat. As she was leaving, I gave her some to send to my parents.

This is their reaction. And for my mama wey nothing Dey ever sweet for her mouth, for her to like this one, omorrrr we’re getting is right like mad🤣🤣
