Evening Whispers for Moms & Dads 💛

This evening, I just want to whisper something to every parent out there:

You did well today.
Even if the house is not perfect…
Even if your toddler scattered more than they arranged…

Even if you raised your voice once or twice…
Even if you didn’t have the energy you hoped for…
You still did well.
You showed up.
You tried.
You cared.
You loved.

And for your little one, that’s everything.
Parenting doesn’t always come with trophies.
Some days it comes as a messy living room,
half-eaten food,
a tired smile,
and a child who still climbs into your arms like you’re their whole world.
And honestly?

You are.
So tonight, breathe.
Release the guilt.
Release the pressure.
Release the “I should have…” and “I wish I didn’t…” thoughts.
You are learning.
You are growing.
You are becoming.

And your child?
They don’t need a perfect parent.
They just need you.
Exactly as you are — loving, present, and trying your best.
Rest tonight, mama.
Rest tonight, papa.

Tomorrow is another chance to love better, laugh louder, and grow deeper with your little one.

Today while feeding my baby, she looked at me with those innocent eyes, trusting me completely.

No fear.
No doubt.

Just… confidence that I will feed her, carry her, protect her.

And I suddenly understood why God didn’t call us “His adults.”
He called us His children.
Because children trust.
Children rest.

Children lean on the one who carries them.
Many times I’ve tried to figure life out alone.

Stress, overthinking, anxiety all because I forget that I too have a Father.
But as I held my baby today, I whispered:
“Lord, teach me to trust You the way she trusts me.”
Faith is not complicated.
Faith is childlike.
It’s a posture of rest:

“My Father will handle it.”

Whatever you’re carrying today, remember — you’re not fatherless.
Rest.
Trust.
Lean.

What No One Told Him — TTC Edition

He acts like he’s okay.
He rubs her back after every disappointing test.
He whispers, “God will do it”.
But deep down, he’s grieving too.

Nobody told him that trying to conceive would feel like a war he couldn’t fight with his hands.

That he’d watch the woman he loves cry herself to sleep while trying to “stay strong.”

That sometimes he’d question himself… his faith… even his manhood.

No one taught him how to carry hope and heartbreak at the same time.

Or how to comfort her when he’s secretly asking:
“Why is this happening to us?”

But here’s the truth, dear brother:

🩵 Your pain is valid.
🩵 Your strength is not in hiding, but in holding on.
🩵 You are still enough, still loved, still whole even in this season.

You are not less of a man because the promise hasn’t arrived.

And you are not alone in this wait.

For every man silently waiting, praying, showing up,I see you.

Tag a brother, a friend, or a husband still believing for his testimony.

Let’s keep standing. Together.

Things They Never Told Us.
TTC Edition

They sit quietly in baby showers.
They smile at dedication services.
They cheer for everyone else’s motherhood journey…
But go home to cry into pillows no one sees.

They are the silent mothers among us.

Women who are TTC… Trying. Trusting. Crying.
And still holding on.

Nobody told them how lonely the wait would be.
How painful two pink lines could become.

How each month can feel like a funeral in their own body.

How faith and frustration can live in the same heart.

Nobody told them that well-meaning words like:
“Relax, it will happen”
“Are you praying enough?”
“Just adopt…”..could feel like salt on open wounds.

So today, I want to say this to every woman waiting:

🌷 You are seen.
🌷 You are not forgotten.
🌷 You are not less of a woman because of a delayed promise.
🌷 God’s timeline may feel confusing, but His love for you is not.

You are a mother in your heart.
You are a warrior in your soul.
And you are not alone.

The Silent Storm After Birth

They celebrated the baby.
They rejoiced at the healthy delivery.
They moved on.

But you were still there, healing.
Emotionally. Physically. Spiritually.

They didn’t see the silent tears, the mental confusion, the feeling of being present but not fully alive.

That’s called postpartum trauma, and many women walk through it silently, especially in faith spaces.

We’re told to “thank God” and “be strong.”
But rarely are we told that it’s okay to struggle. That it’s normal to feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or numb.

Dear mama, if this is you, you are not alone.
It doesn’t mean you’re not grateful. It means you’re human.

Be strong.
Be tough.
Don’t cry.
Don’t complain.

These are the messages many men grew up with.

So what happens when a man enters marriage broken, afraid, or still carrying wounds from childhood?

What happens when fatherhood triggers unhealed memories he never dared to speak of?

He becomes silent. Withdrawn. Sometimes angry.

Not because he’s heartless, but because he’s hurting with no tools or language for his pain.

It’s time we stop expecting men to be rocks while ignoring the cracks forming beneath them.

But no one told him how deep the role of a husband and father truly runs.

Nobody sat him down to explain what to do when his wife was quietly breaking inside after childbirth.

No one taught him how to show up emotionally, not just financially.

No one prepared him for the moment when love alone wouldn’t be enough.

He’s not heartless. He’s not careless.

Sometimes, he’s just… uninformed. Unhealed. Unseen.
