Enjoying free time as we do now feels very calming. Although not everyone is obliged to do it, at least planning to slow down the tempo to be able to look around longer certainly offers lots of new perspectives and inspiration. Times like today are full of inspiration, lots of new views that we meet. Not only is it new but means more profound at this time our inspiration is not from the chats with our customers, but from the people we met during this short break. From craftsmen, mechanics, tailors to carpenters, everyone has a different way of looking at tomorrow. One thing they have in common is that everyone we meet has an extraordinary enthusiasm for meeting tomorrow. Their body has been doing the same activities for decades, so if you don't do routine activities for a certain time, it can get sore. They said so. We can't say for sure when our break is over. But what we can be sure of, the day when we host customers again will definitely come.

When we first brewed at home, at that time we did not think that the process of brewing really had such a broad description. For people who are not into coffee, what is happening in this photo is just a drop of filtered coffee. But for coffee lovers and all their intricacies, there are many descriptions and explanations of what is happening in this photo. What is the coffee, what grind size, what temperature, what kettle do you use, what brand of grinder, what water do you use. And so much more.

Things that happen behind the brewing process that sometimes make us like it even more, sometimes even prefer to brew than finish the coffee

Also important is that not everyone who loves coffee has to be good at brewing. At least this is what we often encounter in coffee shops, some of them don't even have a home brewer or have deep knowledge about coffee but drink coffee regularly and really enjoy it. This is not something strange because everyday we also live it. For example, we like chicken noodles, so we don't have to know the ins and outs of noodles first. We could quickly enjoy the chicken noodle dish served. Also we like to eat Fried Chicken, we don't have to know about cooking first. Just enjoy....

This is what makes it more interesting when you both enjoy coffee, whether you like brewing at home or not, it's still the same at the bar table. Both are coffee lovers.

Coffee processing is an organization that has a leader. Usually we can see from many coffee processing in Indonesia (and also in the world), that there will be one or several people who are quite prominent and become the identity of the coffee processing. For example, if we talk about coffee processing origin A, then the identical thing is Sir Y. Or, for example, cooperative B, remembers madam Z. And so on.

As a leader, you definitely need a vision. A foresight of where this processing journey will lead. Which also, when it comes to vision, is often followed by what principles or values ​​are chosen to achieve it.

There are many coffee processing companies in Indonesia, so there are many visions to be achieved. Some have a vision to improve environmental conditions in the highlands through coffee. Coffee trees that have a taproot, and the quality of cherries that are better with shade plants, are two of the many reasons that can support this vision.

In addition, there are others who have a vision for the welfare of coffee farmers and the surrounding community. Another vision is to specifically provide opportunities for women to contribute more to coffee. Then there are those who have a vision to increase processing production and echo the voice of coffee in international markets through exports. the list can be quite long if written one by one.

Then, let's think about it for a moment, and imagine if the colleagues who read this narrative were leaders of a coffee processing company, what would be your vision or dreams for the future?
