On 18 June 2026, Tok Bali Supply Base (TBSB) had the privilege of hosting a delegation from the Ministry of Economy (MoE), MTJA, and PPJO.
The delegation was led by Dr. Afiza Binti Idris, together with Izmir Kamarudin and Norhayati Binti M. Sahid, accompanied by representatives from MoE, MTJA, and PPJO.
Facilitated by PPJO, the engagement provided a valuable platform for discussions among key stakeholders in the energy sector, particularly the oil and gas industry. The session focused on strengthening collaboration, exploring strategic opportunities, and enhancing infrastructure and logistics capabilities to support future industry growth.
During the visit, TBSB shared its long-term vision of developing a strategic oil and gas seaport on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. This initiative is expected to enhance logistics efficiency, strengthen coastal resilience, and support sustainable long-term management of sedimentation challenges in the surrounding waters, including those influenced by Terusan Semerak.
TBSB also highlighted its current operations, ongoing infrastructure developments, and its role in supporting offshore exploration and production activities across the East Coast region.
We greatly appreciate the constructive discussions and valuable insights shared during the visit. This engagement reflects our collective commitment to fostering stronger industry collaboration and supporting the sustainable growth of Malaysiaโs energy sector.
