Kelvin is the Founder of Jia Kopitiam, a community café established in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, in 2019. Before entering the F&B industry, he built his career in sales and leadership roles at Maxinet Telecommunication and Top Plus Distribution.

His turning point came when he left a sunset industry to pursue entrepreneurship and create a café centred on quality, affordability, and community. Jia Kopitiam has been featured by Sin Chew Daily and recognised by food bloggers and YouTubers for its hospitality and culturally thoughtful initiatives.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, the café provided meals to elderly individuals living alone and supported orphanages and old folks’ homes through community food donation programmes.
