Not sure if this is a post that’s too personal for a bakery page, but here we are anyway. 🙈
A little something about us - we are siblings running this tiny bakery together. We spend our days baking for everyone else, for celebrations and milestones of people we may never meet or don’t personally know.
But rarely do we stop and bake for ourselves.
This small, imperfect, deeply personal tart means a little different. It’s extra special today — Mother’s Day and our father’s birthday fall on the same day, by a beautiful coincidence. 🌹🎂👩🏻❤️👨🏻
We created this 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐭 — blue for Dad, red for Mom, and a flavour combination that everyone loves. We made it a heart shape, because what else could it be. 🩵❤️
A cocoa pâte sucrée filled with soft mochi, and a begian chocolate ganache base. On top is chocolate mousse swirled with homemade raspberry compote, crowned with fresh raspberries - and finished with a mirror glaze in the colours of this very day.
Making this made us pause and think: ah, this is why we bake. Not just for orders and deadlines, but for moments like this. For the people who made us who we are. For the two people who have always been our backbone, and the very reason this little bakery and even our cafe .fino exists.
We hope wherever you are today, you get to share something sweet with the people who matter most. That’s really all any of this is about. And if our bakes have ever put a smile on you and your family’s faces, we are deeply grateful to have you on this journey with us. We’ll keep improving, keep creating, and keep baking with everything we’ve got.☺️💗
