A few days ago, Christian Deo and his family had high tea at Culina. It happened to be Mother's Day weekend.

He ran around with a balloon. He laughed. He felt energized. For a moment, he was just a kid – not a patient, not a warrior. Just a boy who loves his mom.

And his mom? She got to watch him be happy. She got to sit down, breathe, and enjoy tea while her family surrounded her. No hospital walls. No worry – just for an afternoon.

That is what a mother's heart needs most. Time. Peace. Seeing her child smile.

Thank you to Sarawak Children's Cancer Society (SCCS) for trusting us to care for this family. And to Christian Deo's mom – you are the quiet strength behind every brave step he takes. Happy belated Mother's Day.
