Today, My Liberica coffee farm had the privilege of welcoming four key figures who marked important milestones in this year’s international coffee and chocolate competitions.
First, Jason Loo, who proudly secured 4th place at the World Barista Championship (WBC) for Malaysia.
Second, Suren, the 2023 Malaysia Barista Champion and Coach of the 2025 Malaysia World Barista Championship team.
Third, SK Leng from Constant Gardener Cafe, a key driving force behind this competition journey.
And fourth, Ning from Chocolate Concierge, a chocolate expert who has repeatedly supported us in achieving international chocolate awards.
From the initial idea of competing earlier this year, to visiting coffee farms in India in search of inspiration, and continuously upgrading and refining our own processing facilities — this journey would not have been possible without the strong support of our team and friends. Together, we were able to refine the right processing curves and shape the competition flavors we believed in.
Special thanks to our two coffee champions for personally brewing their competition coffees for us over the past two days, and for openly sharing their real experiences and strategies from the competition stage. It became clear that competitions are never just about being “well-prepared.” Even when everything seems ready, uncertainty is always part of the stage — and only years of accumulated experience allow the right decisions to be made in critical moments. This is truly a test of technical skill, strategic thinking, and mental strength, and every result comes with hard-earned effort.
Beyond results, competitions strengthen bonds. The connections within our team and with our partners have grown even . More sparks are sure to come — and LIBERICA will continue to unfold even more exciting possibilities. ☕✨

今天,咖啡园迎来了四位在今年咖啡与巧克力国际赛事中立下重要里程碑的关键人物。
第一位,是为我国夺下世界咖啡师大赛(WBC)第四名的 Jason Loo;
第二位,是 2023 年马来西亚咖啡师冠军,同时也是2025年马来西亚世界咖啡师大赛教练的 Suren;
第三位,是来自 Constant Gardener Cafe、此次比赛背后重要推手的 SK Leng;
第四位,则是来自 Chocolate Concierge,多次协助我们在国际巧克力赛事中斩获佳绩的巧克力达人 Ning。
从年初萌生参赛的想法开始,到远赴印度参访咖啡庄园寻找灵感,再到不断升级与优化自家庄园的处理设备——这一路走来,若没有团队与朋友们的鼎力相助,我们无法如此顺利地摸索出最合适的处理曲线,也无法精准地塑造出理想的比赛风味。
特别感谢这两天,两位咖啡冠军亲自为我们冲煮比赛用咖啡,毫无保留地分享他们在赛场上的真实经历与应对策略。才深刻体会到,比赛从来都不只是“准备充分”这么简单——即使万事俱备,赛场上仍充满不可控的变数,唯有长期累积的经验,才能在关键时刻做出正确判断。这无疑是一场对技术、策略与心理素质的全面考验,而每一个成绩都得来不易。
一场比赛走过,不只是成绩的累积,更让团队与伙伴之间的连结更加紧密。接下来,必定还会碰撞出更多火花,让 LIBERICA 持续绽放更精彩的可能。
