It was a reminder to us that coffee was never just about what’s in the cup.

It’s also the people sharing the moment, and connecting with each other.

When people talk about coffee, they usually talk about beans, brewing methods, or flavours.

But behind every cup, there are also people learning how to make things better.

Some are learning how to brew better.
Some are learning how to communicate better.
Some are learning how to become more confident.

Not because they have to be perfect, but because every new experience helps them see a little more.

Not perfect.
Not NPCs either.

But honestly, BLVCK was never built by us alone.

It was shaped by everyone who came back, recommended us, brought friends, gave feedback, and kept showing up in your own way. ✨

Still can’t believe we gave BLVCK a home.

Behind it was a lot of uncertainties we couldn’t fully predict.

But deep down, we knew BLVCK was never just about a dream.

It was about creating something where people could slow down for a while, sit with their coffee,
and enjoy a small part of their day properly.

Nothing too grand.

Just a little reminder that even an ordinary day

BLVCK didn’t start big.

It started from a long-time passion for creating drinks, a small pop-up setup, and people who were willing to give us a chance. 😇

Back then, we didn’t know where this journey would lead us.

But 2023 was where BLVCK slowly began to take shape.

Not perfect.
But real.

And in 2024, we finally found a place to build from.

Maybe it was always about the space it creates between people.

Some journeys are worth documenting 💫not because they’re perfect, but because they remind us why we started and keep going.

During the preparation for the competition, it was really a lot of repeating, practicing, adjusting, and refining again and again.

For me, one of the hardest parts of hand brewing is consistency, because every brew can turn out different.

So there was no shortcut. Just keep practicing

On competition day, the nervousness was definitely there from start to finish. There were also a few unexpected moments I had to deal with on the spot. But thankfully, I managed to get through them as best as I could.

More than the result, I’m truly grateful for the friends and coffee peeps who gave their time, feedback, and support along the way.🤜🏼🤛🏼

And also to the customers who didn’t mind me practicing during their visits at BLVCK, and even became my audience at times. Your patience and encouragement really meant a lot.🙏

Because of all these support, I got to learn more, improve more, and eventually made it into the semi-finals.

Still learning, still growing, and still moving forward with the same passion.
