As we say goodbye to the legendary Dolly Parton, we're looking back at the wonderful films that let her sparkle shine on the big screen.

Who could forget her scene-stealing debut in 9 to 5 back in 1980 - a role so iconic she even wrote (and earned an Oscar nomination for) its unforgettable theme song? From there, Dolly proved she was a natural, charming audiences in the likes of Steel Magnolias, where she broke our hearts and made us laugh as the warm, wisecracking Truvy, and later bringing joy to a whole new generation in Joyful Noise. 💛

Whether she was cracking jokes, delivering a heartfelt one-liner or simply lighting up every frame she appeared in, Dolly brought that same warmth, wit and irresistible spirit to every single role.

Her films, just like her music, will continue to bring comfort and joy for generations to come - a lasting gift from a woman who gave the world so much.
