Every winter growing up, our home smelled like something Simla had been simmering for hours. She never rushed a pot, never cut a corner. This week, we're sharing some of her specialities, made the way she taught us. We hope they warm you the way they always warmed us.

From a bowl of soup to 'ti-puri', she made winter cozy and hearty.
