C — Aluminium: It has good electrical conductivity and is lightweight. However, it can have corrosion and oxidation problems when in direct contact with soil. Therefore, it is generally not suitable for buried grounding electrodes.

Conclusion: For a reliable and long-lasting grounding system, copper is preferred, while galvanized steel is a more economical option.
