!!NEW MENU ALERT!!

Summer is finally on the horizon, and we’re celebrating the only way we know how with a brand-new menu.

Starting this Thursday, we’re introducing a whole line-up of fresh, delicious dishes that we’ve been working on behind the scenes. Sian and the team have outdone themselves with this one, putting some of the best local produce we can get our hands on right at the centre of the plate.

Whether you've been eagerly waiting for some new flavours or you just need a solid excuse to avoid doing the dishes later this week, we've got you covered.

We’re looking for a Senior Sous to join our wee team.

If you’re into proper local sourcing,
working directly with farmers, fishers, and foragers and want a lead role in a kitchen that cares about technique and produce, this is for you.

The Essentials:

• £15.00 + per hour plus tips
• Help run the kitchen, mentor the team, and get stuck into menu development.
•You’ve got at least 3 years experience at Sous level in high-end kitchens. You’re organized, calm when it’s busy, and genuinely give a toss about the ingredients coming through the door.

The British weather is finally starting to behave, which means we’re hanging up the roasting forks. This Sunday will be our very last roast of the season, and once the gravy dries up, that’s it for a good while.

We’ve decided to close for lunch so we can celebrate our daughter’s very first birthday. It’s hard to believe a whole year has passed already, and we’re really looking forward to spending the afternoon together as a family to mark the occasion.

The finish line is officially in sight. Voting for the Good Food Guide’s Top 100 local restaurants ends tomorrow, and we are making one final push to see if we can secure a spot on that list.

We’ve never been big on asking for favors, but this one is a bit special.
