A wonderful Sunday celebrating our shared passion for tea! 🍃☕

We were delighted to participate in the first Australian Tea Masters – Ceylon Fellowship, held at Mount Lavinia Hotel.

It was especially meaningful for us, as Australian Tea Masters – Ceylon is where our journey of learning more deeply about tea technology, grading and tasting began.

The fellowship commenced with a warm welcome from Graham Stork, Head of Sri Lankan Operations, followed by an insightful presentation by Sharyn Johnston, Head of Australian Tea Masters, on emerging trends in the global tea market. A special highlight was receiving the Australian Tea Masters pin from Sharyn herself. 🍃📌

The Fellowship High Tea that followed was a wonderful opportunity to connect and network with people from diverse backgrounds, all brought together by one common passion — Tea. ❤️🍵

A lovely afternoon of learning, friendship and fellowship!

This week, as the UK celebrates 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗮 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸, we celebrate the simple pleasure at the heart of it all — 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗲𝗮, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱.

From our little tea garden in Sri Lanka, we are proud to create 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱, allowing the character of our tea, our land and our craftsmanship to come through in every cup.

🌱 Another small step on our sustainability journey at SereneTea Gardens.

We've planted Pakchong (Napier) grass cuttings, which will be used in the future as nutritious fodder for cattle.

Pakchong (Pak Chong) grass is a high-yield hybrid Napier grass developed in Pak Chong, Thailand. It is valued for its excellent nutritional quality and is widely grown as fodder for cattle and other livestock.

Integrating livestock and natural farming practices is part of our long-term vision of moving towards more sustainable and organic tea cultivation.

Every step brings us closer to a healthier ecosystem and a more resilient tea garden. 💚🌿

**Webinar Recording | SereneTea Gardens × International Tea & Coffee Academy**

On **5 July 2026**, we had the pleasure of introducing SereneTea Gardens to participants of the **International Tea & Coffee Academy** in the Netherlands.

The recording begins with our introductory video, followed by a guided tasting of our handcrafted teas and a short Q&A session. Participants had received SereneTea sample packs in advance, allowing us to taste the teas together across continents while exploring their stories, flavours, and the handcrafted process behind each cup.

A heartfelt thank you to Marco de Groot and the International Tea & Coffee Academy for organizing this wonderful event, and to everyone who joined us with such curiosity and enthusiasm.

🌿 Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future. 🌿

On World Environment Day, SereneTea Gardens took an important step towards a greener future by initiating our transition to organic cultivation and beginning work on a Regenerative Sustainability Plan, guided by the valuable advice of Aneez Helaya.

By working with nature, improving soil health, and enhancing biodiversity, we hope to contribute in our own small way to a healthier climate and a more sustainable future for generations to come. 🌱🍃

🌿 Proud moments for SereneTea Gardens as a Supporting Partner at the AHK Sri Lankan-German Business Forum through our membership with the Ceylon Artisan Tea Association.

From the Kick-off & Start-up Night at TRACE Expert City, to the main conference followed by the Cocktail Evening at ITC Ratnadipa, and the elegant High Tea evening at the Embassy of Germany in Colombo, we were delighted to showcase our artisan handmade teas, share tastings, and receive wonderful feedback from visitors and tea lovers. ☕🍃
