Born from a collective dream of running a beachside restaurant and bar, Zephyr was launched in mid 2014 in picturesque Mirissa Bay, on the south coast of the island. A group of like-minded friends came together to create our version of the ultimate beachside haven; good food and delicious cocktails on a beach of palm fringed perfection. One year on, Zephyr Arugam Bay opened its doors in May 2015.

Nestled in a garden of palms, overlooking the rolling surf, Zephyr Arugam Bay marked a new chapter in our journey. From south coast to east coast our promise remained the same. Zephyr Ceylon went on to open its doors by setting up a villa in beautiful Talalla in the south too. We faced a lotta challenges during the pandemic, but now we have finally relaunched two amazing spots once again in the south coast in beautiful Weligama right next to the Marriot and also the Zephyr restaurant and bar in Kamburugamuwa. All our produce is sourced daily from local markets to ensure ultimate freshness and to support growers, farmers and fisherman who use traditional methods. We invite you to enjoy our version of tropical paradise and we hope in turn, to welcome you to the ever-growing Zephyr family.
