Our tea bushes have managed to produce an amazing amount of seeds for us to re-germinate and plant more around the tea house garden. We look forward to the day when we will be able to harvest the leaves directly from our own trees 🌿

Keep an eye out for them while you're having a stroll through the garden.

After the rain comes new life 🌺 Our garden is full of colour, and the sweet smell of the newly bloomed frangipani flowers.

We will be closed tomorrow, Friday 5th June, as Xieng Tree Tea House will be attending the Luang Prabang commodity fair being held at the The Grand Luang Prabang Hotel.

This fair will showcase all local products made here in the Luang Prabang region. It is a great way for locals and expat business owners to discover what is available right here in our own backyard, and to also consider supporting small local businesses 🀝🏽
The fair will run from 10am - 5pm.

If you happen to be in the area, please pop by our stall to say Hi πŸ‘‹πŸ½ and grab yourself one of our top selling products, created right here at the tea house 😎

We will reopen on Saturday 6th June with normal trading hours.

Thank you for your understanding, we look forward to welcoming you here at Xieng Tree Tea House β˜•οΈ

At Xieng Tree Tea House we are more then just about Lao tea. We are also a great place to learn about the traditions and culture of the long Nam Khan River people (the people of the villages along the Namkhan River). There are about 15 villages along the river in Luang Prabang alone.

This flower arrangement, or baci, is specific to the area. It is a unique design that you won't find in the city or inland areas. The older generations of these villages still practise this design, and we still see it used today.

Handmade by locals, using fresh flowers, for traditional ceremonies and blessings, which you may have seen during your journey through the country.

So why not pop down for a cuppa β˜•οΈ and learn more about the incredible culture of Lao and people of Lao PDR πŸ‡±πŸ‡¦

One of the last Xieng trees in the village. It is the namesake of the village and the inspiration of our logo.

You can find this beauty along the Namkhan (Khan river).

So if you happen to be kayaking past the village, keep your eyes peeled πŸ‘€
