At Joo Ok, you can get a glimpse of traditional hanok with our refreshing welcoming drink with our house-made vinegar.

Before our grand opening on September 3rd, Joo Ok held its 고사 (Gosa) ceremony, a traditional ritual to seek protection and success in our new endeavor. During this ceremony, offerings of food, fruit, drinks, and a pig’s head were respectfully presented to ensure a prosperous beginning. We had a wonderful soft opening night in collaboration with , a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals in need. It was truly an honor to give back to the community that has always supported us here in New York.
