Sorry to everyone for not posting here about our new opening hours. We now open only in the evenings from 6:00 pm (unless there's a hangover involved, then it might be a little later!). Sorry again to those of you who liked to come in for lunch. We'll be looking at opening early again at some point in the future and will be sure to post here when we do.

The work on the floor is finished! We're still closed at the moment, though. We're cleaning up and doing some minor fixes and changes while we've got the opportunity. We'll be opening the doors later today, sometime between 4:00 and 6:00.

The work on the floor is taking longer than expected, so we're also going to be closed tomorrow, May 7. On the bright side, the next time you come in you won't trip on one of the holes in our floor!

We will be closed all day on tomorrow (hmm... actually it's today now!), May 6, while our damaged floor is being repaired. We had planned to keep the shop open and have the work done in stages during our off hours, but after the first stage was finished we realized that's probably more inconvenient for our customers than closing for a day. Because of that, we decided it's best to get it all done at once. Sorry for such short notice.

If you've got the urge for a Charlie's Dog today, you'll have to hold out until Wednesday!

It's hard to believe we're already approaching July! The past couple of months have been extremely busy for us. Thanks to everyone who's dropped by!

A while back, we announced that new toppings are coming. We're a little slow in getting it ready for the new menu, but it's still coming. Sauerkraut, jalapenos, and more. The reason that it's taking so long is because of beer! Not that we're drinking too much of it, but that we can't decide which new beers to add to our menu.

As part of the menu upgrade, we decided to cut some of the beer brands, cocktails and wines that don't sell well and replace them with others. We've got some great new wines on offer and have finalized the cocktail list, but we're stuck on the beer. We don't want just any old beer, we want the good stuff. To that end, we've been selling several different brands and getting feedback from our customers. As soon as we make a final decision, we'll order the new menu board and make it all available. We hope very much to have it ready before the end of July. If you want to help out, come by and try some of these beers were testing!

Speaking of beer, the Samuel Adams Spring Lager has been selling like mad. But since spring has gone, the time for the Spring Lager is coming to an end. From July, Samuel Adams Summer Ale will be available in Korea, and at Charlie's, to replace it. If you've never tasted it before, you're missing a really good beer!

A while back, we announced that Saturday evening steak dinners would be available by reservation in the summer. We did a successful test run last month and, as a result, refined the set menu and settled on a reasonable price. But we have a happy problem at the moment. Since we first announced the steak dinners back in March, we've gotten much, much busier! Saturday evenings are one of the busiest of the week and we just don't have enough seating to accommodate the steak dinners. So we have decided to postpone this event for now. We'll revisit the idea again this fall, when the weather will be nice and cool enough to throw open all the doors and grill steaks on a Sunday afternoon.
