aery’s New Selection Update

The coffees that the aery team selected during our trip to Panama this past March are finally arriving in Busan, one by one.
⠀
Because of our recent schedule and the arrival of new crops, the introduction of our new coffees has been slightly delayed. Starting this week, we’re gradually updating the selections both in-store and on our Naver Smart Store and international online shop.

The first coffees we’d like to introduce are Elida Torre Geisha CRD Natural and Lerida Esplendorosa Geisha Washed.

지난 3월, 에어리팀이 파나마에서 직접 셀렉해온 커피들이 하나둘씩 부산에 도착하고 있습니다.

그동안 여러 일정들과 뉴크롭 입고 시기로 인해 새로운 원두 소개가 조금 늦어지고 있었는데요. 금주부터 매장은 물론 네이버 스마트스토어와 해외몰에도 상품들을 순차적으로 업로드하고 있습니다.

aery Asia Coffee Tour Vol.2 _ Nanjing

Our final stop of aery’s Asia Coffee Tour for the first half of 2026 has come to a successful close in Nanjing.
⠀
Thanks to far more people joining us than we ever expected, although we couldn’t leave behind many photos, the atmosphere and memories from this event will stay with us for a long time.
⠀
Beyond Busan — from Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, Seoul, Bangkok, and finally Nanjing —
through every city with its own unique culture and atmosphere, it truly meant a lot to us to see people sincerely enjoying the coffee, space, and values that aery carefully prepared.
⠀
What we especially felt once again through this tour was that good coffee ultimately becomes complete through sincere connections between people, beyond language itself.
⠀
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who visited aery, the organizers and staff who made each event possible, and all the precious people in every city who supported us along the way.
⠀
Because of all of you, we were able to successfully and happily complete our Asia Coffee Tour for the first half of 2026.
⠀
Now, aery returns to Busan, where we’ll continue preparing even better coffee and a better space while waiting to welcome you again.

2026년도 상반기 에어리 아시아 커피 투어의 종착지인 난징에서의 일정이 성황리에 마무리되었습니다.

저희의 예상보다 훨씬 더 많은 분들이 함께해주신 덕분에, 비록 사진은 많이 남기지 못했어도 현장의 분위기와 기억들은 오래도록 선명하게 남아있을 것 같습니다.

서울과 부산을 넘어, 광저우·상하이·방콕 그리고 난징까지.
각 도시마다 너무나 다른 문화와 분위기 속에서도 저희가 준비한 커피와 공간, 그리고 에어리가 중요하게 생각하는 가치들을 진심으로 즐겨주시는 모습을 보며 정말 큰 힘을 얻을 수 있었습니다.

특히 이번 투어를 통해 다시 한번 느낀 것은,
좋은 커피는 결국 사람과 사람 사이의 진심 어린 교류로 완성된다는 점이었습니다.

At WOC Bangkok, we were so happy to see many familiar faces again.
⠀
Even though it was our first time visiting Bangkok, the city didn’t feel unfamiliar at all. We think it was because coffee gave us a shared language and an openhearted way to connect and become friends with everyone we met.
⠀
We sincerely thank everyone who welcomed us so warmly, and we hope to see you again someday in Bangkok, and in another city somewhere in the world.

WOC 방콕에서는 정말 반가운 얼굴들을 많이 만날 수 있었습니다.
⠀
처음 방문한 방콕이라는 도시가 낯설지 않게 느껴졌던 가장 큰 이유는 커피라는 공통된 언어에서 비롯된 열린 마음으로 모두와 친구가 될 수 있었기 때문인 것 같은데요.

aery has successfully wrapped up the international coffee culture festival held at North Bund in Shanghai.
⠀
It was truly a meaningful and happy five days for us, being able to share our coffee surrounded by the beautiful cityscape and stunning night views.
⠀
We look forward to returning to Shanghai again with another great opportunity. Now, aery begins its journey in Bangkok.

This coming May, we’ll be introducing aery across three cities.

Starting with the Shanghai International Coffee Festival, the tour continues to WOC Bangkok and concludes in Nanjing at the Korea Coffee Festival.

During the Asia Coffee Tour, our Busan shop will remain open and operate as usual.
⠀
From Busan to Shanghai, Bangkok, and Nanjing— we hope to share many joyful moments with you throughout this May journey.

상하이 국제 커피 페스티벌을 시작으로, WOC 방콕을 거쳐 코리아 커피 페스티벌이 열리는 난징까지 이어집니다.

이미 많은 분들이 알고 계시겠지만, 에어리는 수 많은 커피들 중에서도 에티오피아 커피를 선택할 때 가장 많은 고민을 합니다.

에티오피아는 좋은 커피가 가진 긍정적인 특성을 잘 갖추고 있으면서도, 매일 마셔도 질리지 않는 매력을 지닌 산지이기 때문인데요.

이번 셀렉션인 Eva Gotiti 역시 섬세하면서도 선명히 느껴지는 복숭아 홍차의 아로마와 산뜻한 레몬 캔디같은 단맛이 인상적인 커피였습니다.

As many of you may already know, at aery we tend to spend the most time and consideration when selecting Ethiopian coffees among all origins.

This is because Ethiopia offers coffees that embody the essential positive qualities of great coffee, while also having a charm that never grows tiring, even when enjoyed every day.

We select coffees based on rarity and clarity of flavor, and aim to present their character in the most aery way.

Our coffees are light roasted to allow a wide range of flavors to express themselves with cleanliness and clarity.
⠀
To allow the flavors to fully develop, we recommend a degassing period of at least two weeks, with brewing best enjoyed after three weeks.
⠀
⠀
에어리는 희소성과 명확한 향미를 기준으로 커피를 선택하고, 그 매력을 가장 에어리다운 방식으로 전하고자 합니다.
⠀
로스팅 역시 다양한 향미가 깨끗하고 선명하게 표현될 수 있도록 라이트 로스팅을 진행하고 있는데요.
⠀
향미가 충분히 발현되기 위해 최소 2주 이상의 디게싱 기간을 거치며, 3주 이후의 추출을 권장드립니다.

The first season of aery’s Asia Coffee Tour, which began in late March, has now come to a successful close.
⠀
We visited four cities, each with its own unique charm, and had the chance to meet so many of you while sharing aery’s selection. It was truly a time of inspiration and growth for us.
⠀
Even when we didn’t share the same language, we learned that a simple cup of good coffee can still connect people. That has always been one of the biggest reasons we love what we do.
⠀
With everything we experienced together, we will keep growing and come back soon with aery Asia Coffee Tour Season 2.

3월 말부터 시작된 에어리의 아시아 커피 투어 시즌 1이 무사히 마무리되었습니다.

지금 에어리는 브리타(.professional.korea ) 로스터즈 클럽의 다양한 부스 중 하나로 함께하고 있는데요.
⠀
이번 토요일은 에어리의 아시아 투어 Vol.1 일정의 마지막 날이기도 한 만큼, 그동안의 관심과 애정에 보답드리고자 감사한 마음을 담아 매장에서 제공해드리고 있는 회전감압식 농축 우유를 사용해 라떼를 준비하려고 합니다.
⠀
최대한 많은 수량을 준비해오려고 하였으나, 생산 과정에 많은 시간이 소요되어 최대 30잔 내외로 제공이 가능할 것 같습니다.
⠀
토요일 역시 대기 줄이 길어질 경우 안전 및 더 나은 경험을 위해 잠시 대기를 멈추고 정돈 후 다시 운영할 계획입니다.

이번 커피 엑스포를 기획하며 부스 안쪽으로 들어오실 수 있도록 준비한 이유는 한 분 한 분께 저희의 취향을 더 자세히 전해드리고 싶었기 때문인데요.

현재 현장에서는 감사하게도 예상보다 더 많은 분들이 찾아주셔서 긴 대기 시간이 발생하고 있습니다.
⠀
줄이 너무 길어질 경우 많은 분들의 안전은 물론 소중한 시간이 불편한 경험이 되지 않도록 잠시 대기 줄을 마감하고 정돈하는 시간을 가지고 있는데요.
⠀
오늘은 저희가 추구하는 가치를 더 깊이있게 전달드리고자 오후 3시까지 시음과 판매를 병행하여 준비해드리고 그 이후부터는 음료와 원두 판매만을 진행하며 원래의 기획 의도대로 운영하고자 합니다.
