Have you ever tried to make pickles at home? You should... It's easy and quick to make.

The ingredients l used today are;

cucumber cut into slices
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
8 onions cut into round rings
2 tbsp of olive oil
2 cups of vinegar
2 cup sugar
1 tsp mustard seeds
Pinch of salt
2 cups of water.

Mix all ingredients in the pan and let it boil for 10 minutes then add the mixture of cucumber and onions let it boil for 2 minutes and let it rest then it's ready to be served.

This delicious Spanish prawns dish, it's possibly loaded with garlic and spices. Don't forget the fresh bread, you will need it.

Ingredients
1000g raw prawns
20 tablespoon olive oil
20 cloves garlic finely sliced
2 teaspoon chili flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
5 teaspoon paprika
5 tablespoon parsley finely chopped
Juice of half a lemon

Instructions
Palace the pan over medium heat, and put olive oil in the pan add sliced garlic and chili flakes and cook the garlic for 1 minute. Add the prawns, bring to sizzling and cook for about 3 minutes, stirring a few times, until the prawns are pink all over. Season with salt and pepper and squeeze over the juice of half a lemon, stir the prawns and then turn off the heat. Sprinkle with paprika and parsley and serve immediately while still sizzling.

Serve with crusty bread

I like cabbages because of their flavour, no matter the recipe you used l still like them. It's one of my favourite dishes. Today l decide to use my simple recipe with a few ingredients that l have.

Ingredients used are ;
1/2 cabbage chopped in small sizes
3 ripe tomatoes πŸ…
1 onion
Oil
Salt
Royco

- Cut the cabbage into smaller pieces, also cut tomatoes and onions separately.
- Add oil to the pan and heat it, then add onions and stir till it turns brown that's when you add the tomatoes and cook till soft.
- After the tomatoes are softened add a pinch of salt and royco and let it cook for 30 seconds, then add chopped cabbage and simmer for 2 to 3 min then it's ready
-You can serve it with rice or use it to make spring rolls.

A quick and simple mild chicken carry with bags of flavour. Ready in 30min.
It makes a great mid-week meal.

Freezer friendly and save for later.

Ingredients:
1kg chicken
3tbsp vegetable oil
1 large onion
3cloves garlic minced
2tbsp mild curry powder- go hotter if you prefer

2tbsp ground cumin
2tsp minced ginger
1tbs paprika
1tbsp cinnamon
Salt to taste
Black pepper
2tbsp tomato paste
2 chopped tomatoes
1cup chicken stock.

You can serve it with; boiled rice, fresh coriander and chapatis.

Sometimes l like to boil mint leaves and drink them.
I like to drink mint tea after having every meal because it makes me feel more relaxed and happy.
I prefer putting a little bit of sugar for taste or you can also have it without sugar.
It's a nice drink and sure you will enjoy it.
