TATU ASALI. SWEET, WITH A LITTLE ATTITUDE.
We didn’t build Tatu Asali just to go bigger. We built it to bring a little more Kenya to every bite.
And this story starts with the sweet stuff.
In Baringo, beekeeping is a tradition passed down through generations. In Kitui, honey production helps support local families. Behind that Kenyan sweetness are beekeepers, communities and a craft worth celebrating. Those little bees are part of something pretty big. 🐝
So we gave Kenyan honey a starring role in our mustard mayo. Its sweetness balances the mild heat, keeping that cheeky little kick without letting it take over. The mustard brings the attitude. The honey knows how to handle it.
Then we turn things up with three Kenyan beef patties and three slices of Sirimon cheese. Because we take balance seriously. Restraint? Not so much.
And this isn’t just any cheese. Sirimon makes it at an artisan studio at the foot of Mount Kenya in Laikipia County, just outside Nanyuki, using milk from the local farming community. Proper craft, right here at home.
That’s what we mean when we say we build our food consciously. Choosing local means putting our spending behind Kenyan producers and giving homegrown ingredients the spotlight they deserve. We’re not looking past what’s on our doorstep to make something special. We’re building something special with it.
Kenyan honey. Kenyan beef. Kenyan-made cheese. All coming together in one unapologetic triple stack.
Meet Tatu Asali. A little sweet, a little heat, a whole lot of home.
Masai Smash. BOLD NOT BASIC.
