It’s a new generation meaning my two sons opened Captain Rolf ( Rolf) in Motomachi Yokohama to keep up the traditional home cooking and the taste of our family and the old Sea Castle. So if you happen to be in Yokohama, drop in.

Some time has passed since the sun set on the grounds of the old Sea Castle. But it was around this time that a ship under Captain Rolf set out searching a new horizon. The crew wanted to keep up the old taste and tradition of the family and landed in Motomachi River Side.

To our great surprise, the closing hour of Sea Castle was blessed with a German farewell speech, shower of flowers and three heart warming songs by our neighbors and the local foreign community. We thank you for kindly filling our last moments with such great happiness.

６５年８ヶ月本当にありがとうございました。皆様のおかげで　楽しい事が沢山ありました。

Over more than 65 years, with the warm support of our dear customers, friends and family, the little German Restaurant Sea Castle has been striving to spread a bit of Gemutlichkeit through our many home cooked dishes. Our 117 Bierfests over the last 45 years has brought many patrons together to enjoy each other and the fun.
Due to our aging team we have decided with deep regret to close our doors, end of November.
Thanking all of you for the nice memories
and friendship and wishing all the best of Health and Happiness in the years to come.

65年以上にわたり、小さなドイツレストラン - シーキャッスルは、大切なお客様、友人、家族の温かいご支援のもと、たくさんの家庭料理を通してアットホームな空間を広めるべく努力してまいりました。過去45年間に117回開催されたビール祭りでは、多くのお客様と共に楽しいひと時を過ごしてきました。
この度、私たちの体力も徐々に限界に近づき、誠に残念ではございますが、11月下旬をもちまして65年の長い物語の幕を下ろす事にしました。
皆様との楽しい思い出と友情に感謝し、これからも皆様の健康と幸せをお祈り申し上げます。
