Behind the Scenes at Sha Sha’s Catering

One thing about running a catering business… you have to learn how to work smarter, not just harder! 😂🙌🏾

I created this Event Preparation Form because I was tired of creating a brand-new checklist from scratch for EVERY. SINGLE. EVENT. 😩

And once I started doing food vending at JBMDL Fort Dix, I knew I needed a better system. With everything that goes into preparing for an event — menus, desserts, supplies, equipment, quantities, setup and more — I needed something that would help me stay organized and cut down the time I spend preparing for each event.

So I created my own reusable Event Preparation Form & Checklist! 📝✨

Now I can simply plug in the event details, build my menu, list what I need, check off my supplies and equipment, and keep everything in one place.

My sister and niece recently attended a winery event in Shamong and came across this bottle of Autumn Goddess Apple Wine—and they brought it home with ME in mind! 😂❤️

They know I love exploring unique ingredients and turning them into something delicious, so of course my first thought was:

“Hmmm…what can I create with this?”

With fall approaching, I already have an idea brewing for a delicious fall-season dessert using this wine… but before I reveal what I’m thinking, I want to hear from YOU! 🤔

GOD NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE ME! ✨

I’m excited to share that Sha Sha’s Catering Service has officially been hired to provide biweekly meal prep services for a family of 5! 🙌🏾❤️

But let me tell you how this opportunity came about… because God is truly in the details! 🙏🏾

When I asked my new client how she found me and learned about the variety of services I offer, her response completely blessed me!

She said she went to ChatGPT and asked for a description of the type of meal prep services she was looking for. Several businesses came up, but she added more specific details about what she needed, including her location preferences.

Sha Sha’s Catering Service happened to be one of TWO options! 😭🙌🏾

And because I had my inquiry link available, she was able to click the link, complete my inquiry form, and get the process started.

And here’s the part I love… ❤️

I happened to see the notification and responded right away. From there, we had a conversation, discussed her needs, and moved forward to the next phase.

Now we’re officially moving forward with biweekly meal prep services for her family of five! 🥘🍗🥦

This is such a reminder that you have to make sure your business is ready when the opportunity comes.
