Homer's epic hits the big screen tomorrow but Pelorus Yachting is set to take your clients to the real places that inspired it.

‘The Odyssey: An Epic Voyage Through Sea and Cinema’ is a new 14-night private journey tracing Odysseus' route from the ancient city of Troy through Sicily, the Aeolian Islands and the Amalfi Coast by air, land and private yacht.

Among the highlights of the journey:

✦ Exclusive access to ancient sites, with a sunset performance recounting the fall of Troy among the ruins at Apollon Smintheion

✦ Sicily's Valley of the Temples from a hotel dedicated to Athena, and a private workshop sketching the Olympian gods with a local artist

✦ Sail to Favignana and Levanzo, the Egadi shores where the film staged its sirens and sea monsters

✦ Cruise the Aeolians: Vulcano's thermal springs, Panarea's legends, and a night trek to Stromboli's erupting summit

✦ Close on the Amalfi and the Bay of Naples: Li Galli's Siren islets, Capri's Blue Grotto and secret beach caves by private tender, and an after-hours dinner at Ischia Castle with the curator

✦ Renowned historians, local authors and figures from the film's production along the way

Ten years for Odysseus. Fourteen nights for your clients.

ANNOUNCING NEW REPRESENTATION: THE TAILOR

Australia is a country of vast distances and dramatic contrasts. In the space of a single journey, travelers can trade the buzzing harbor life of a coastal city for the red silence of the outback, or swap the coral gardens and white sand of the Great Barrier Reef for the gorges and cattle stations of the remote north.

The team at The Tailor knows how to reach every corner of it, and more to the point, knows the people who bring each of those corners to life.

The most memorable moments tend to come from relationships they’ve spent decades building. A private viewing inside Paspaley's Sydney pearl room, or a behind-the-scenes fitting at the R.M. Williams workshop. A flight into the restricted reaches of Arnhem Land, reading ancient rock art with the Aboriginal custodians who keep its stories. A day tracking echidnas with a resident scientist on Kangaroo Island. A home-cooked lunch in a guide's own kitchen overlooking Sydney Harbour.

These are the kinds of connections that don't come off a shelf, which is exactly why we're thrilled to welcome The Tailor into our collection this month!

Every one of their itineraries is built from scratch, which means the same country can be shaped to very different travelers: families moving from wildlife encounters to reef snorkeling to hands-on bush camps, couples trading ferry timetables for a private yacht through the Kimberley's gorges, food lovers working their way through the Barossa and Adelaide Hills alongside the winemakers themselves.

The planning starts with a conversation between the traveler, their advisor, and a Tailor travel designer, who shapes the journey around what the traveler actually wants and then quietly arranges every booking, transfer, and reservation behind it.

Australia is vast, and the best of it is often the hardest to reach – the remote station, the restricted coastline, the island with no road to it. Having local connections like The Tailor is the difference between a trip that merely covers a lot of ground and one that feels, start to finish, like it was made for your clients.

Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni's restaurant Mistral has been reborn and we have a first look to share of the new space.

A gastronomic icon of Lake Como for over thirty years, Mistral has returned this season in a completely reinvented setting: an elegant theatre open to the water, luminous and dramatic, where the lake itself becomes part of the meal. New décor marries contemporary refinement with the hotel's heritage, creating something both intimate and spectacular.

Guided by Chef Ettore Bocchia, the new menu keeps the dishes that built Mistral's legend, from the Tortellini di Pavone, a nod to the haute couture of Italian cuisine, to the Ethical Foie Gras, a mark of the Chef's commitment to conscience-driven gastronomy, to the show-stopping Turbot 'Assoluto,' cooked in sugar, a signature piece of his molecular gastronomy.

Speaking about the updates, Jan Bucher, the hotel's Owner & General Manager said, "Our goal is to make Bellagio the gastronomic reference destination on Lake Como. We are committed to organizing a series of promotional events, both locally and internationally, hosting Michelin-starred chefs, star mixologists, exceptional wineries and prestigious Champagnes, to make Bellagio a truly unique stage for lovers of haute gastronomy."

2026 also marks the first full season since Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni joined Relais & Châteaux, a fitting backdrop for this kind of culinary reinvention.

The co-oldest luxury hotel on Lake Como, Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni is the only five-star property in the heart of Bellagio, with direct access to the lakefront and 94 rooms and suites set among Italian marble, antique Murano glass chandeliers, and original frescoes. Its guests over the years have included Winston Churchill, JFK, Franz Liszt, Mary Shelley, and Sophia Loren.

On the night of June 27th, the Grand Masked Ball takes over the grounds of the Palace of Versailles. It’s one of the most spectacular events in the world and guests of Airelles Château de Versailles, Le Grand Contrôle arrive as royalty.

Dinner by Alain Ducasse. The best seats in the house with unlimited Champagne. Fireworks over the Night Fountains Show. Costumed and masked, your clients become fully immersed in the regal festivities. And when the evening ends, a return to their suite within the palace grounds.

The ball may be the centerpiece, but the three days surrounding it are extraordinary in their own right. Exclusive evening access to the Palace after it closes to the public, private morning tours of the Domaine de Trianon, the Orangery Gardens, the Airelles Spa, golf carts through the grounds. This is a private Versailles that few ever get to experience.

Space is extremely limited for this special event. If you have a client who has been waiting for the right moment to experience Le Grand Contrôle, this is it.

Reach out directly to our team for more details.

FIRST LOOK: A Secret Room Inspired by Coco Chanel Arrives at The Fife Arms

The Fife Arms, located in the heart of the Scottish Cairngorms Mountains, has added a new bedroom inspired by fashion designer ‘Coco’ Chanel, whose connection to the Highlands inspired her legendary collections.

Akin to the nest of an exotic bird, the bedroom pays homage to this free-spirited and wild character who first came to Scotland in the 1920s during her romance with Hugh Grosvenor, 2nd Duke of Westminster. Over the next decade, Chanel fell in love with the culture of the Highlands and became an avid fisherwoman and a renowned fly fisher.

Brought to life by Russell Sage Studio, the interior designer behind the Fife Arms, the opulent and elegant new guestroom draws diverse influences from Chanel’s life and designs. Known for her dislike of doors and her placing of screens in front of them in the hope that her guests might forget to leave, the new ‘secret’ room is hidden behind a trompe-l’œil door featuring details from her Paris apartment and discovered by following the path of a special Camelia symbol.

Specially commissioned tweeds in rich greens and burgundy from Linton mill – discovered by Chanel in 1928 and who still have an ongoing working relationship with the house today – feature throughout the room, complemented by decorative touches drawn from Chanel’s 31 Rue Cambon apartment in Paris, including the wheatsheaf chandelier and Art Deco vanity mirror on the dressing table.

The headboard and furniture throughout the room is painted in Scottish Chinoiserie and the wallpaper is a copy from Rosehall Hall, the Scottish manor house near Lairg, which Chanel decorated during her relationship with the Duke.

Warm and romantic, the room also houses a walk-in wardrobe, dedicated bar area, and freestanding copper bath tucked within an arched niche. The bathroom celebrates the monochrome colour palette that Chanel used regularly within her work.

The new room occupies The Fife Arms’ former Family Room, which has also been carefully relocated and recreated in a dedicated space on the ground floor of the hotel.

We’re thrilled to share a first look at the thoughtful renovations just completed at The Mercer Hotel in New York City!

Nearly three decades after redefining downtown hospitality, The Mercer’s new look refines the original vision created in 1997 by French interior designer Christian Liaigre. Rather than reinventing the hotel, the updates subtly deepen the residential character that has long defined the SoHo landmark.

The comprehensive renovation encompasses all 73 guest rooms and suites, introducing warmer materials, refined millwork, Vermont Danby marble bathrooms, and hardwood floors throughout.

Upholstered headboards and reimagined seating bring warmth and more relaxed proportions to the rooms, linen drapery filters light more softly through the large SoHo-facing windows, and the palette deepens into olive green, deep burgundy, and warm leather – adding richness while remaining entirely consistent with the restrained aesthetic Liaigre first established.

Newly configured two- and three-bedroom layouts – created through interconnecting rooms with shared foyers – allow the hotel to accommodate longer stays and multi-room living while preserving the intimate atmosphere that has always distinguished the property.

In a neighborhood defined by constant change, The Mercer remains one of downtown New York's most enduring addresses. We're excited to see the hotel evolve as it enters a new chapter.
