Modern living no longer fits into rigid floor plans.

As homes flex between work, rest and social life throughout the day, the challenge for architects isn't choosing between open-plan and closed doors, it's designing the layers in between.
That's the idea behind soft privacy: a graduated approach to space division that moves through three distinct states:open, filtered and closed, depending on what a moment calls for.

Our Zefiro range was engineered around exactly this need. Zefiro System uses vertical rotating leaves that pivot up to 360° on concealed upper and lower pivots, letting you shift from an open visual screen to a textured, continuous partition with a simple movement. Zefiro Fly takes it further, combining that same rotation with full lateral sliding along rails. The leaves can filter light, then slide and stack neatly to one side to free up the entire passage.

There are objects we use every day without ever wondering who invented them. A paperclip, a bottle cap, a clothespin: design protagonists of our daily life that remain, nonetheless, without an author.

On October 8th, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, Sala Arengo in Ferrara will host "30 oggetti in cerca d'autore" ("30 objects in search of an author"), an event organized by Linvisibile in collaboration with the Order of Architects of Ferrara.

Michele Ronconi will explore the lost authorship behind everyday inventions, while Elena Borghi will trace, in "Le origini della porta," the door's evolution from simple shelter to design object.

The event grants 3 continuing education credits (CFP) for members of the Order of Architects, upon registration on their platform.

We look forward to sharing an afternoon of reflection on the hidden value of the things we take for granted.

Over time, even the most precise hinged door may need fine tuning.

That’s why hinge regulation is a normal part of keeping a flush-to-wall system performing beautifully.

Architecture is rarely confined to straight lines, and neither should the elements that define it. The Curved Hinged door breaks the mold of traditional partitions by seamlessly integrating into curved walls, maintaining absolute flush-to-wall planarity along a radiused surface.

One project, three distinct opening mechanisms, zero structural disruption. Achieving ultimate purity in custom homes often requires selecting multiple door typologies that perform without altering the spatial volume.

For the Rifugio sul mare residence, Linvisibile supplied three distinct engineered solutions, all unified under a single "As wall" finish:
- Brezza | Filo 5 Vertical Pivot Door: Perfect for managing wider transitions smoothly on a concealed vertical axis.
- Alba | Filo 5 Hinged Door: Reinterpreting the traditional hinge with fully hidden hardware and flush recessed handles.
