www.toscanadelicacies.com, an online platform for the purchase of food and cosmetic products from small Tuscan producers, was founded in 2015 by a selection of local farmers who practice organic and biodynamic methods. The majority of the goods are organically certified, with honey being the only product to originate from animals. The quick and simple purchasing process allows the possibility to c
ustomize a gastronomic package. Toscana Delicacies also offers a selection of pre-arranged food packages created for special evenings and occasions, such as "aperitif in the hills", "relaxing evening" or "romantic surprise." Each product booklet contains accurate Italian and English language descriptions along with information about the producers and a brief history of the farm. The site’s simplicity and functionality are one of the project’s strengths, complete with beautiful photographs and minimal graphics, all driven by the desire to spread the idea of healthy and sustainable agriculture. Toscana Delicacies aims to share Tuscan products with not only the rest of Italy, but all of Europe and worldwide, in support of the small producers and their fundamental activities.
