Blábjörg Resort Gistiheimilið Blábjörg er staðsett í gamla Frystihúsinu í miðju Bakkagerði á Borgarfirði eystra.

Húsið var byggt árið 1946 og hófst vinnsla þar tveimur árum síðar en lagðist af seint á árinu 1991. Húsið stóð að mestu ónotað fram til ársins 2006 þegar núverandi eigendur keyptu húsið. Miklar endurbætur hafa verið gerðar á húsinu undanfarin ár og Gistiheimilið opnaði 18.júní 2011. The Guesthouse is located in an old fishplant in the center of Bakkagerði in Borgarfjörður eystri. The house was bui

ld in 1946 and two years later production began. The fishplant closed in late 1991. The house has been mostly unused since then. The house has gone under a lot of renovation and the guesthose opened on the 18.june 2011.
