PAPANASAM BEACH ๐ VARKALA ๐ KERALA
There is something about Papanasam Beach that is difficult to explain. The name itself means โwashing away the past.โ And somehow the ocean here really feels like that. Like a place where thoughts become quieter, old heaviness slowly dissolves, and life returns to something more natural again.
Pre-monsoon season has started in Varkala now.
The sea is turning wild, the beaches empty, the air full of salt and change. Tourists slowly disappear, but the soul of this place becomes even more visible.
This morning: coffee from the moka pot, my rescue girl Frida watching the waves with me, endless sky, barefoot & free. Moments like this remind me how little we actually need to feel alive.
Running a small vegan cafรฉ directly on the beach was never only about food for me. It was about creating a space with a different energy. A softer way of living. A place for conscious choices, slow moments, compassion, healing and connection ๐ with nature, animals, ourselves and each other.
The monsoon is coming. And with it, another season of transformation.
