Troopers located Dawson near Highway 5. Upon attempting a stop, Dawson accelerated and drove recklessly.

On May 4, 2026, at approximately 3:27 PM, I, TFC Steven Brooks, observed a red Toyota Camry traveling at excessive speed on Highway 49.

Radar confirmed 90 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. The vehicle failed to yield and initiated a short pursuit.

The suspect lost control on a curve and entered a ditch. The driver was apprehended at the scene.

On May 6th, 2026, at approximately 2130 hours, I (TFC M. Scott) observed a silver Dodge Charger traveling at 112 MPH.

The vehicle fled, reaching speeds over 130 MPH. A PIT maneuver was attempted and resulted in the vehicle striking a barrier.

The driver made sudden movements inside the vehicle. I deployed my Taser and secured the suspect.

On May 8, 2026, I, TFC K. Adams, observed a blue Honda Civic speeding on Interstate 55.

The vehicle failed to stop and initiated a pursuit. The driver made aggressive lane changes and nearly struck other vehicles.

The pursuit ended when the vehicle exited the roadway and became stuck in mud. The driver attempted to flee but was apprehended.

On February 25, 2024, at approximately 2:05 A.M., I observed a white Dodge Charger speeding on I-75 northbound.

The vehicle fled and exited onto University Avenue, disregarding traffic signals.

A PIT maneuver was executed by assisting units. The vehicle struck a barrier and came to rest.

The suspect was taken into custody. A bag containing suspected ma*****na and a scale was recovered.
