Khati Oxomiya platter.... please excuse the poor lighting!!

My platter brings together the quintessential vibrancy and aromatic flavours of Duck Meat ( Haahor manxo), Pork Fry with Bamboo Shoots (Baah Gaaz diya gahori), Mutton Curry ( Sagoli Manxo), Fish Fry ( Maas Bhaja) with condiments and chutneys to add to the taste. Another gastronomic delight in the menu is Chicken with black sesame seeds ( til diya manxo)… the healthy yummy taste of sesame paste… with the balminess of ginger… and a dash of black pepper.. This is the ultimate comfort food at its scrumptious best! I have also added a very typical assamase recipe prepared with mashed jackfruit seeds.. kothal gutir pitika... an excellent side dish!

Aai’r Akhol ...Magic from Mom’s Kitchen… it is a culinary journey for me, which began from the days I followed around my mother, watching her weave magic in the kitchen. Simple food with great taste, cooked and served with lots of love. What I learnt from her then, stayed with me forever!

With this new venture, I am trying to recreate mom’s magic and bringing together the authentic flavours from my land to the heart of the nation. The use of fresh, local ingredients are the highlight of my menu!
